Hi, I’m Adam, a DVSA Approved Driving Instructor based in Telford.
I help learners of all ages become safe, confident drivers through calm, patient and friendly tuition. Whether you’re a complete beginner or returning after a break, every lesson is tailored to your needs and your pace.
A little about me.
I began my driving instructor training in 2017 and qualified as a DVSA Approved Driving Instructor after completing my training with KS Driving School.
Before becoming an instructor, I spent many years working with the public, so helping people feel relaxed and confident has always come naturally.
The most rewarding part of my job is helping someone finally understand something they’ve been struggling with and watching their confidence grow from lesson to lesson.
Lesson Structure
Two-Hour Lessons
All lessons are two hours long, and there’s a good reason for that. Learning to drive is a practical skill that takes time to develop through practice.
Many lessons begin with a drive to a quieter area, where you’ll also need time to swap seats, adjust your position, and prepare to drive safely. At the end of the lesson, you’ll need to travel back home, meaning one-hour lessons leave less time for meaningful driving practice.
Two-hour lessons give you more time behind the wheel, allowing you to practice a wider range of skills and road types while making steady progress and offering excellent value for money.
10-Hour Block Booking
Save money by booking a package of 10 hours in advance and enjoy a more predictable lesson schedule. This package provides five two-hour lessons. You can secure a regular weekly time slot or, if you have an unpredictable lifestyle, simply book your lessons through the app at times that suit you. It’s an ideal option if you’re committed to learning regularly and want to save money.
Motorway Lessons
Motorway lessons require a minimum booking of three hours due to the distance involved. This allows enough time to reach the motorway, gain confidence driving at motorway speeds, practise safe lane discipline and overtaking, and return without rushing the lesson.
Common Questions
How long are the lessons?
We offer flexible lesson durations to suit your schedule. Our standard sessions are 120 minutes, with longer sessions available for more focused practice or theory.
What are the requirements?
To start your journey with us, you must be at least 17 years old and hold a valid provisional licence. You must also have a valid photo ID and a valid insurance policy.
Do you offer theory lessons?
Absolutely. We provide comprehensive theory lessons to ensure you are fully prepared for the practical test. These sessions cover the full DVSA syllabus.
How many lessons are needed?
Every learner is different, so there is no set number of lessons that guarantees you’ll be ready for your driving test.
The Driver and Vehicle Standards Agency (DVSA) states that, on average, learners need around 45 hours of professional driving tuition, together with 22 hours of private practice, before they are ready to pass their practical driving test.Â
